Eat Cake Sort of Day! Happy 10th to my beautiful daughter~Allison!

1 crafts 2015-02-23 024

Wow, I can believe that 10 years ago I gave birth to my little girl! However, if I had it my way her birthday would have been 2 days ago! That’s right, my girl decided to live in my tummy for a couple more days. I went in to be induced on a Thursday night and she didn’t make her arrival until early Saturday morning. Oh well, she is a pretty great little girl so I can I forgive her. :)

Today’s card is a another from the Birthday Stamp Camp. I like to keep these Stamp Camp cards pretty simple so that no one feels overwhelmed with the process. Adding *sparkle* is how I add the “WOW” usually along with a little ribbon. Oh how my girls *love* ribbon. Okay, they don’t like tying it but, they do like the way that it makes the card look!

**edited to add the full photo** :)

Celebrate With Cake: Big Cake #2

1 crafts 2015-02-23 020

Hi Everyone! I have another card from this past weekend’s Stamp Camp. This card can easily be converted to a masculine card with two each changes. First, color your “CAKE” with Pumpkin Pie OR Bermuda Bay Blendabilities *(YES, we have Bermuda Bay now!) and next, use Bermuda Bay Candy Dots instead of the Melon Mambo. Easy and cute!

Stampin’ Supplies:

I *love* hearing from you all and cherish all comments. :) I’m off to get the kids off the bus–you have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday! Big Day!

Today’s card is my favorite of the cards that a few gals created this past weekend at my Birthday Bash Stamp Camp. Adding a bit of glitz and glam are what take this card up a few notches however, the overall design is super simple! I may have edited this photo a bit too much because the full card below is definitely more true to the real card. I’m sorry! I used the Coastal Cabana DSP from the 2013-2015 In-Color Paper Stack.

One of the best things about this card? The stamps! I got this “Big Day” stamp set for FREE with the current Sale-A-Bration promotion.

Blendabilities are the star of this show. I used a few different sets to color the cake image and the sentiment. The cool part?! I used darkest shade of the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities to color 2 large rhinestones that “hold” my sentiment in place. I love these darn Blendabilities. They make creating matching elements a breeze!

PERSONAL UPDATE:  I am sorry for what seemed like I took a vacation. I had a lot going on in my little ole world over here.

  • My kids are finally all better and went to school all week last week. Whew!
  • We did some car shopping last week and finally got a new one. I am super happy. I got a SUV (we got rid of our OLD yucky van)!
  • YAY! My daughter’s 10th birthday is this week. Eeek! I can NOT believe she is going to be 1-0 in just 2 short days! We all say it but, really how does time fly this fast? We are doing our first Slumber Party this weekend. Oh boy–lots of screaming young ladies–that my hubby is not looking forward to, LOL.

All in all everything is going well and busy and I am getting back into the swing of things! I hope that all is well with you!

Happy HEART Day!

In keeping with the style of this card. I am going to keep this post quick!

But, in case you are wondering, here’s my update on the kids: Jacob is finally back on his feet–whew, it only took 5 WHOLE days! And, Allison came down with the same bug late Tuesday evening. This nasty stuff comes on without a real warning. It just happens. She is doing better today (but, I have learned that this bug likes to play tricks on your body…one minute you are alright and the next your tummy hurts). I can not wait to be FREE of this yuckiness!

I hope that you and your family have avoided this stomach bug all together because it is NOT fun!

Have a wonderful *heart* day!! 137779S

Valentine’s Treat + Now ON SALE at Stampin’ Up!

1 crafts 2015-02-10 002

Hi all! I told you yesterday that I had a sick little boy on my hands. Well, here is the update…that little boy is still occupying the couch full time. He is slowly on the mend. I know that he will be home with me again tomorrow at least. So far everyone else is staying healthy. **crossing fingers and saying some prayers**

I had some Cherry Sour Balls sitting on my desk that were begging for a little attention. AND, I need to NOT eat them. :) That’s where today’s project began. Hey, Valentine is such a cute set and I needed to play with it again before the big day this weekend! I think we will send these to the kid’s teachers’.

I gotta run to get my daughter off the bus so, if you have ANY questions please let me know. I’m leaving you a supply list down below!
