Get Well Soup and Warm Wishes

1 crafts 2015-07-14 004

Wow, it has been a crazy summer around here so far! We are already down to one month to go before the kiddos go back to school! Where does it go? The time. Where does it go? I hope that you will forgive my lack of posting the last couple of months. I have been busy trying to keep my kids busy. The most exciting thing that has happened this summer: my BF since middle school has moved back to town!! Getting our kids together has been SO MUCH FUN!

While the summer flies on by we are still going to try to squeeze in a camping trip. Yes, REAL camping with the kids this year. I am curious how the kids will do with tents and sleeping outside! My biggest foreseeable problem…a FAN. I always, always, always sleep with a fan! And, I have created a mini-me. My daughter is the exact same. Hmm. I am going to have to figure out something or we just won’t sleep for a couple of nights!

Ok, enough about me. I hope that you are having a great summer!

This past week I have gotten my creative juices flowing and I created a stack of cards! This one is ALL Stampin’ Up! but, I have to admit that I also enjoyed working on some other things that were made with other companies products. That’s alright, right?! I will share those soon–promise!

This cute “Get Well Soon” card is made with the *NEW* Get Well Soup stamp. I also used the *NEW* thick Whisper White cardstock for the base of the card. I have to say that I am in total *love* with this card stock. It’s so perfect for making cards and for use with alcohol markers! I didn’t really think that I would find a real “need” for this because I was doing just fine with regular Whisper White but, Oh No…this stuff is great!! If you have not already gotten some you *must* put that on your list!

I think that this card turned out pretty neat. If you have questions please leave a comment below!

Here is a peek at the inside:

One Last Perfect Blend Card

20150528_183641_resized_1

Hi stamping friends! I’m back today to share a card that I just created. :) How about a bit of both worlds? A little retiring and a lot of new okay, and even something that has already retired.

1 crafts 2015-04-09 001

Let me give you some details about the card…

The retired:  see that little flower on the coffee cup? That’s a retired punch (it was part of a set of 3 that SU! sold in the past).

The ALMOST retired:  Perfect Blend stamp set. This is one of my all time favorite sets. I would have linked to the Perfect Blend stamp set but, it’s not letting me and I have a BAD feeling that it may have sold out overnight last night. :(  If I have better news for you later I will link back to it.

The BRAND NEW:  I used a new Designer Series Paper called, Cherry On Top and it’s a 6″ x 6″ pad! I thought that this piece of donut paper went great with the coffee cup! I also used a beautiful new lace ribbon in one of the new In-Colors: Watermelon Wonder. The little flower punch and the layer of cardstock behind the designer paper is also Watermelon Wonder.

The current product: Pool Party cardstock (the card base), Bermuda Bay (cardstock for the coffee cup and ink for the stamping on the coffee cup), Whisper White cardstock for the coffee cup sleeve and lid. Rhinestones.

Here are a few other projects that I have created with the Perfect Blend stamp set that you may like:

Make sure to check out the retiring items right away if you have not. Place your orders ASAP because the stamp sets are now only available while supplies last along with the retiring accessories. I don’t want you to miss out on anything that you would love to have! June 2nd is the LAST day to order!!

Mother’s Love

1 crafts 2015-04-27 007

Hello! Miss me? :)  I hope that you have been able to do some papercrafting! I have been making and selling LOTS of teacher cards and tags over the last week. Since I started posting some newer items over in my Etsy Shop: Happily Ever Crafter, I have been a busy little stamper. I. Love. It. Period! This is something that I have wanted to do for a LONG time. I’m getting a little nervous that things are heating up right before the kids get out of school for the summer. Do you think they will mind staying inside for 3 months? Ha. I better come up with a plan because I can not lose momentum! I love all of my papercrafting jobs!

I did manage to create a Mother’s Day card to share with you. :)

I’m going to admit that this is not my most favorite card that I have ever created. I don’t know why I was having a hard time. In the end though if you add sparkle to ANY project it gets prettier so, that’s what I did! If you look closely you will see the bits of glitter around the center piece “Nobody loves like a Mom”.

1 crafts 2015-04-27 011

And, of course, I stamped the inside to match! Well, I kind of had to since the set comes with these two BIG sentiments!

You can find the stamp set, Mother’s Love, in the current Occasions Catalog along with the Washi Tape that I used on the sides of the card.

If you have any questions about card OR just want to say, “Hello”, leave a comment. I *love* comments. :)
