Endless Wishes Winter Banner

2014-11-20 crafts 1 007

Happy Friday!  Today I am sharing a little project that I have been wanting to make for some time now.  I grabbed this Simply Created Kit from the Clearance Rack a couple of weeks ago and finally had a chance to play with it.  I ended up only using the 2 large rosettes and a bit of the Bermuda Bay/Pool Party ribbon from the kit.  I added my own cardstock, punched pieces, die-cut snowflakes and of course glitter to create this cool banner!

I can not wait to put it up.  It’s so sparkly in person.  Now, the question…I am hosting Thanksgiving our home (like most years) and always wait to put up my Christmas decor’ until after Thanksgiving because I try not to rush it.  But, with Thanksgiving coming so late this year would it be BAD if I went ahead and did a little “Christmas” decorating beforehand?  I will not be doing my tree yet as I REALLY enjoy the smell and look of a real tree.

What are your thoughts?

Merry Monday (on Tuesday)!  Sorry for the late posting of the Merry Monday video, it did manage to load on YouTube EARLY this morning!  I just didn’t know what to do a video on.  Lol.  I tried to come up with something on Sunday and nothing was turning out the way that I wanted it to.  I *love* today’s project though.  Simple yet elegant.

Let Me Show You What I Am Up To!

2014-11-14 1 crafts 002

This weekend is my Annual Christmas Card Stamp Camp!!  We are all so excited and I have girls asking–are we going to have Christmas music?!  Oh yes, we are! Music is a great mood setter!  Here is a picture of the progress I have made in the cutting of  200 cards and all of their bits and pieces!!  In case you are wondering, YES, that’s a lot of cutting.  I just finished cranking some cardstock through my Big Shot 100 times!  I had to take a break.  I still need to emboss another 100 layers!

I have another little update!  Well, it’s pretty big for me.  I officially transferred the blog (from Blogger) over to WordPress!  Yes, I did it all by myself.  :)  Some of my older post will look a bit weird but, I am working on going back and fixing them.  If you are a current subscriber to www.happilyevercrafter.net you should be receiving this update in your email.  I was able to transfer that over the other day!  You will be seeing some more changes take affect on the website as I continue to customize it.  For now, it won’t be anything too big just some minor tweeks and a few more items will be added to my Stampin’ Up! site!  You can still go there HERE.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Hi Everyone!  I sure hope this post goes out as normal.  I am right in the middle of switching from Blogger over to WordPress.  Oh MY goodness has it been a rough couple of days.  I am such a novice when it comes to “programming” anything having to do with the computer.  I can type a blog post and link to stuff but, changing name servers and IP addresses.  Ha.
Anyway, if you are a subscriber to this blog then I hope you will get this.  If you try to click on the title in the email you might now end up here (it might be just a blank wordpress page).
I will update Feedblitz so hopefully, you will be transitioned over to that new site without having to re-subscribe.  I am hopeful I can at least do that by myself. :)
IF YOU DO NOT HEAR ANYTHING FROM ME IN A FEW DAYS—
Go to:  www.happilyevercrafter.net and that should get you there.  I still have to get the site up and going so, give it just a couple of days!
Here are a few OTHER things I wanted to tell you about:
Stampin’ Up! just released a cute NEW Photopolymer Stamp Set:
