Halloween Swaps–Stampin’ Up! Event; Unite & Excite

Hello Everyone!

I mentioned a few days ago that I attended a Stampin’ Up! event called Unite & Excite over the past weekend.  It was a lot of fun meeting other business-minded (and hobbiest-minded) women who LOVE what they do as much as I do.  I can not tell you where I would be if I didn’t have Stampin’ Up! in my life.  I would be scared to know because I absolutely LOVE my job.  I love sharing what I know about this craft with other wonderful crafty people!
Do you want to see what I mean?  If you would like to try giving this crafting gig a try please check this out.  You are more than welcome to contact me with any questions!  Email Me, I would love to help you figure out if this is a good fit for you!
Ok, ok, I will get back to the reason I came by today.  ðŸ™‚
I received some really great swaps at the event.  For those that do not know what that means… Us crazy stampers create a multitude of one design of card fronts.  This is a great way to show ideas of either layouts, color combinations, unique ways to use stamps/embellishments and so on…  Then we swap them with other stampers!
I actually used one of these swaps for inspiration for my Merry Monday this week.  ðŸ™‚
Here are a few Halloween “swaps” that I received:

Sometimes you are lucky!  Look what I got!  A sweet Halloween treat.  This inspired me to create something similar with materials that I had on hand!  It was too cute not to re-create.  That is the point of these swaps…get you inspired to CREATE!  Come back tomorrow to see what I did. 🙂

A spooky Halloween card.  This would be a cute invitation for a party.  Look at that yucky eyeball in the martini glass.  Eww!  lol

Check out what Cindy did.  She used the stamp set Work of Art in an entirely different way.  Crazy, that’s all I can say.  She used the different “swooshes” to create the body and hair for a witch.  She then drew in the face.  Well done~Cindy!
Hopefully, the projects that I have shared have inspired you to go create something fun for Halloween!!
