Merry Monday Video #12!

2 Merry Monday

Welcome back!  Wow, what a busy week this past one was!  How about you?  We had Thanksgiving at our house (which was perfect!), then Black Friday shopping, and a weekend of decorating the home for the holidays!  We are onto a new week which should mean that you will be seeing more projects from me than you did last week!

I am starting off my Monday with the kiddos extending their 5 day weekend by another day–thanks to a nice FAT layer of ice that Mother Nature decided to coat us with late last night. Luckily, I stayed up nice and late to get my video loading to You Tube and that means it’s already finished for me this morning!  Yay!!

Merry Monday on Tuesday

How about a little Merry Monday on Tuesday?  My ultimate goal yesterday was to get Merry Monday video number 11 loaded to YouTube.  Haha, that took over 5 hours.

And then…

I am sure that A LOT of people have seen on the News the things about Ferguson, Missouri.  I live in St. Louis, Missouri (about 20 minutes from Ferguson). I went to high school in Ferguson.  I have friends in Ferguson.  I have immediate family in a neighboring city.  I have an aunt and cousin that live in Ferguson.  I have an Uncle and two friends that are fire-fighters.  Last night was a VERY sad night for our city of St. Louis.  I stayed up until 2 am watching this city get destroyed on television.

I’m sorry that you had to wait until today.  But, here is your Merry Monday (on Tuesday!)…

Happy Friday!  Today I am sharing a little project that I have been wanting to make for some time now.  I grabbed this Simply Created Kit from the Clearance Rack a couple of weeks ago and finally had a chance to play with it.  I ended up only using the 2 large rosettes and a bit of the Bermuda Bay/Pool Party ribbon from the kit.  I added my own cardstock, punched pieces, die-cut snowflakes and of course glitter to create this cool banner!

I can not wait to put it up.  It’s so sparkly in person.  Now, the question…I am hosting Thanksgiving our home (like most years) and always wait to put up my Christmas decor’ until after Thanksgiving because I try not to rush it.  But, with Thanksgiving coming so late this year would it be BAD if I went ahead and did a little “Christmas” decorating beforehand?  I will not be doing my tree yet as I REALLY enjoy the smell and look of a real tree.

What are your thoughts?

Merry Monday #10 is here! Super Cute Gift Card Holder!!

Merry Monday (on Tuesday)!  Sorry for the late posting of the Merry Monday video, it did manage to load on YouTube EARLY this morning!  I just didn’t know what to do a video on.  Lol.  I tried to come up with something on Sunday and nothing was turning out the way that I wanted it to.  I *love* today’s project though.  Simple yet elegant.

This weekend is my Annual Christmas Card Stamp Camp!!  We are all so excited and I have girls asking–are we going to have Christmas music?!  Oh yes, we are! Music is a great mood setter!  Here is a picture of the progress I have made in the cutting of  200 cards and all of their bits and pieces!!  In case you are wondering, YES, that’s a lot of cutting.  I just finished cranking some cardstock through my Big Shot 100 times!  I had to take a break.  I still need to emboss another 100 layers!

I have another little update!  Well, it’s pretty big for me.  I officially transferred the blog (from Blogger) over to WordPress!  Yes, I did it all by myself.  🙂  Some of my older post will look a bit weird but, I am working on going back and fixing them.  If you are a current subscriber to www.happilyevercrafter.net you should be receiving this update in your email.  I was able to transfer that over the other day!  You will be seeing some more changes take affect on the website as I continue to customize it.  For now, it won’t be anything too big just some minor tweeks and a few more items will be added to my Stampin’ Up! site!  You can still go there HERE.
