In keeping with the style of this card. I am going to keep this post quick!

But, in case you are wondering, here’s my update on the kids: Jacob is finally back on his feet–whew, it only took 5 WHOLE days! And, Allison came down with the same bug late Tuesday evening. This nasty stuff comes on without a real warning. It just happens. She is doing better today (but, I have learned that this bug likes to play tricks on your body…one minute you are alright and the next your tummy hurts). I can not wait to be FREE of this yuckiness!

I hope that you and your family have avoided this stomach bug all together because it is NOT fun!

Have a wonderful *heart* day!! 137779S

Valentine’s Treat + Now ON SALE at Stampin’ Up!

1 crafts 2015-02-10 002

Hi all! I told you yesterday that I had a sick little boy on my hands. Well, here is the update…that little boy is still occupying the couch full time. He is slowly on the mend. I know that he will be home with me again tomorrow at least. So far everyone else is staying healthy. **crossing fingers and saying some prayers**

I had some Cherry Sour Balls sitting on my desk that were begging for a little attention. AND, I need to NOT eat them. 🙂 That’s where today’s project began. Hey, Valentine is such a cute set and I needed to play with it again before the big day this weekend! I think we will send these to the kid’s teachers’.

I gotta run to get my daughter off the bus so, if you have ANY questions please let me know. I’m leaving you a supply list down below!

Do You Need a Masculine Card Idea For Valentine’s Day?

1 crafts 2015-01-29 002_2

Have you created a card for you loved one for Valentine’s Day? I have a little bit of a teaser today because I created this card with a stamp that is not Stampin’ Up!. I know–SHOCKER! I do not own many stamps that are NON-Stampin’ Up! but this one is by Heidi Swapp. Big On You would be a great substitute if you were looking for a bold statement!

In the shopping list below you might notice that I added another set that I did not use in today’s card however, if you spent $50 you could get Simply Wonderful for FREE during Sale-A-Bration and it would be great for a greeting on the inside of your cards!

Speaking of shopping..do you own an Envelope Punch Board? If you just said, “No”…I’m going to shed a little tear for you today. Lol, no, I am not. But, seriously, you NEED one of these in your craft stash. You will NEVER have to worry about having a matching envelope or having ones in the correct sizes of your finished cards. For my card today I used a retired designer paper from Stampin’ Up! but, you could use ANY color you wanted to. I almost created a BLACK envelope but then I remembered having this in my paper collection (you have one of those too, right?!).

This card says exactly what I need to it for my Hubby however, I will probably add a little at least one mushy sentence or two. This card would sum up my husbands thoughts though. He would probably just sign his name and hand the card over to me. Gosh, us girls are SO different than guys~aren’t we?!

Hey, Valentine Class Treats!

1 crafts 2015-01-29 009

Happy Friday, everyone! I have another Hey, Valentine sample for you today. I spoke about these little bags of Gold Fish in yesterday’s post. I may have lightened this image a bit too much with my editing. 🙂 However, I did color my little fishey’s with lighter colored ink and a blender pen (Strawberry Slush and Pool Party)…it just looks even lighter in this photo.

If you are looking for something really quick AND cute for Valentine’s Day then this set is SO perfect for you! All I did was cut my cardstock, stamp the fish, color them in, and stapled them to the package of Gold Fish. What?! SO easy! My kiddos are doing their own class valentine’s this year! Order your HEY, VALENTINE set right here!

Fun Valentine Treat for the Kids! (or grown-ups too!)

Wow, can you believe that there are only a few days left in January? Whew, it’s flying (and that is ok with me!)…come on Spring! On the flip side it means that Valentine’s Day is just over 2 weeks away. Are you ready for this lovey dovey holiday?!

If you are looking for something quick and easy for the kiddos to take to school for all of their friends? Look no further! Hey, Valentine will get you ready for the sweet filled holiday in no time! Of course, if you are like me then you realize that our kids do not need MORE candy so, I am going with the oh-so-yummy Gold Fish.

Last week when I was walking through the grocery store I stumbled upon a package of 9 bags of Gold Fish. Hmmm…my minds starts designing instantly. I threw it in the cart and away I went. This project is the result of that impulse purchase. 🙂 Um, please tell me that I am not the only one designing projects/cards while trolling the stores?!

Now today I ran into Target and came across a BIG bag of 25 snack bags specially marked for Valentine’s Exchange…much better as these were about the same price as the package of 9 that I purchased (plus, my kiddos already ate some of those anyway). I will create a simpler tag for these smaller bags that my kids will take to their classmates. I mean, I LOVE cute, layered, and over the top however, these kids just want the treats, right?! So, these larger (and more fancy ones) can be for the teachers.

Below is your shopping list for today’s project (the Gold Fish-you will have to run to the store for those 😉 ) Order Hey, Valentine soon though so that you have time to put your cards and treats together! Just one more note: the ribbon is non-Stampin’ Up! I picked it up some time ago.

Today I am going to be working on samples for the next class:  Birthday Bash! Have a great Thursday everyone! Oh, and if you have any questions just leave a comment!
