Hello, My Friend(s); Designing the Inside of Your Cards In a Flash!

1 crafts 2015-01-07 011

I hope that you are not tired of this set because I’m back with one more sample that I created with the Tap! Tap! Tap! stamp set. I love to color images with markers or Blendabilities and this set is perfect for just that. ūüôā

You do not have to have TONS of supplies in order to create stunning handmade cards! With just a bit of ribbon and popping up the main image I believe I was able to create a very eye-catching card design without a lot of bells and whistles. Would you agree with me?

Don’t forget about the inside of your cards. To carry my design to the center of my card¬†I stamped the *note* flagged image, colored it with the same Coastal Cabana Blendabilities, layered that onto a piece of Real Red cardstock, and finally placed it over a matching strip of Designer Series Paper (the same design from the front). Another way to simply bring¬†your design to the inside is to just stamp another image from the set in a matching ink. That’s what is great about Stampin’ Up! and their stamp sets–you get lots of stamps that coordinate!

Thinking of You Card; Tap! Tap! Tap! set by Stampin’ Up!

1 crafts 2015-01-07 009

It’s true! ¬†I have been thinking of you. ūüôā

Today’s project shows another take on the stamp set that I showed you last week.¬†The set is called Tap! Tap! Tap! and it’s so versatile with the different sayings that you can use. The card came together very quickly after I colored the typewriter with my favorite Blendabilities.

I started with a piece of Real Red cardstock cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. I then stamped the tap, tap, tap wording onto a piece of Sweet Taffy DSP that measured 4″ x 5 1/4″ and attached that to the front of my card base. I stamped the typewriter image onto Whisper White cardstock with Black Memento Ink and colored that in with Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, and Smoky Slate Blendabilities. Next, I stamped the “thinking of you” image onto my “paper” that was coming out of the typewriter and punched it out with the 2 1/2″ circle punch. After attaching my circle image onto the card with dimensionals I colored 5 rhinestones with my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities and attached those¬†randomly to the card front. To finish off¬†the card I cut a piece of the same DSP to 4″ x 5 1/4″ (the paper is gradient and the top is a much lighter shade of the yellow so, I used the lightest part–perfect to write a¬†message on) and attached it to the inside!

I hope that you enjoyed today’s card. I have created one more with the Tap! Tap! Tap! set that I will come¬†back to show you. ūüôā ¬†Today I am¬†eagerly waiting for that man that drives the¬†BIG BROWN TRUCK–he’s bringing me a Sale-A-Bration stamp set¬†AND a couple of NEW things from the Occasions Catalog!
