Celebrate Today Thank You Cards

1 crafts 2015-03-03 014

Do you have your kids send thank you’s after a birthday party? to their family members that give them gifts? I try to and I will admit that sometimes time just slips away and then I forget. 🙁  This time I worked ahead and actually finished Allison’s thank you’s before her parties. Now she can write a sweet note to family and friends! I always feel better when we are able to show our gratitude for their kindness.

Speaking of gratitude, I actually used this design to create my customer thank you’s! I really appreciate when you choose me as your demonstrator because I know that there are a TON of us out there! If you placed an order in February you should have received the card below. I ran out of Coastal Cabana cardstock by the time I finished Allison’s cards (she is a lover of blue-NO pink) so with a quick switch of the cardstock and ink I was good to continue. I’m loving this stamp set/bundle: Celebrate Today because it is so versatile. I will share a baby card that I created with this bundle later on!

Eat MORE Cake; One Tag Fits All by Stampin’ Up!

1 crafts 2015-01-12 003

I am having some more fun with this One Tag Fits All stamp set. I have said it already but, really this set is versatile. I have already created 2 birthday, 1 thank you, and 2 Valentine cards with this set. If you think about I have already paid for the set if you figure I would have had to spend $3 to $4 to purchase just ONE card (and I have to say that MY cards are better than a “store” bought one-that’s my opinion).

I created this card with a simple design in mind. With minimal embellishments I believe I still conquered a cute and stylish card.

Instructions:

  1. Cut Bermuda Bay cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″.
  2. Run a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece Pumpkin Pie cardstock through the Big Shot with the Decorate Dots embossing folder.
  3. Layer that embossed cardstock onto a piece of 3 3/8″ x 5 1/8″ Whisper White. Next, adhere those layers to the card base.
  4. Cut a piece of Designer Paper to 3 3/4″ x 3″ and adhere that over the embossed cardstock. Add a 3/8″ x 3″ piece of Coastal Cabana to cover the seam. Place two Candy Dots on the ends (they look like brads!)
  5. Stamp the “eat cake” image onto Whisper White cardstock, color image with Blendabilites then, punch it out with the Note Tag Punch. Punch another tag out of Coastal Cabana cardstock. Adhere those tags together slightly off center so that the blue sticks out on the left side of the white tag.
  6. Use dimensionals to adhere the tag to the card.

You have a completed card unless you decide to continue and add a little stamping to the inside of your card! 🙂

I hope that you enjoyed today’s card! Below are the supplies that I used to complete this project.

Mingle All The Way to the Festival Of Trees

Hi Stampers!  Today I have another super quick Christmas card.  I have been a fan of quick and simple over the last few months.  Sometimes, I just do not have the 1+ hours to create a card.  And, yes I have spent plenty of hours creating a card or two, just not lately.  🙂
Now, there are the things you could do with this “simple” card to step it up.  How about adding some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the berries on the trees.  You could also add some glitter to the snowflakes that surround your sentiment.  You could even round some corners of the card.  The possibilities are endless.
 What will you create today?
Supplies used on today’s card:

Endless Wishes Christmas Card: Quick and Easy

Happy Saturday!!  I have a quick post for you today on a simple Christmas card.
You will be able to crank out a bunch of these in no time!
Supplies you will need:
  1. Cut your Crumb Cake cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″ (score @5 1/2″).  Cut your Whisper White layer to 4″ x 5 1/4″.
  2. Punch a 2″ circle in lower right of card.
  3. Stamp your snowflakes on both the card base and the inside layer.  I set my layer inside to see where I wanted to stamp those snowflakes.
  4. With your card closed stamp through the hole on the front to get your sentiment where you want it being careful not to move it while stamping.  I didn’t attach it just in case I messed up (then I could flip it over and use the other side).
  5. Attach Whisper White layer into card.
  6. Using white gel pen “dot” the centers of all of your snowflakes on the outside of the card.
  7. Tie on your ribbon.
  8. Add a rhinestone to your snowflake that is on the inside of your card.  You are finished!
