Celebrate Today Thank You Cards

1 crafts 2015-03-03 014

Do you have your kids send thank you’s after a birthday party? to their family members that give them gifts? I try to and I will admit that sometimes time just slips away and then I forget. 🙁  This time I worked ahead and actually finished Allison’s thank you’s before her parties. Now she can write a sweet note to family and friends! I always feel better when we are able to show our gratitude for their kindness.

Speaking of gratitude, I actually used this design to create my customer thank you’s! I really appreciate when you choose me as your demonstrator because I know that there are a TON of us out there! If you placed an order in February you should have received the card below. I ran out of Coastal Cabana cardstock by the time I finished Allison’s cards (she is a lover of blue-NO pink) so with a quick switch of the cardstock and ink I was good to continue. I’m loving this stamp set/bundle: Celebrate Today because it is so versatile. I will share a baby card that I created with this bundle later on!

Thankful for Many Things! Stampin’ Up!

Hello Stampin’ Friends!

So, we are as back to normal as you can get.  My hubby is back to work (he was so NOT excited to go back today…then they called him and asked him to come in early…oh here we go).  He’s the boss and every time he takes any time off things seem to go a bit hay wire.  So, for the next few days he will be on clean up duty.  All I have to do is keep the kids happy and try to keep the fighting/whining to a minimum! 🙂

Here is a card that I created before we left for our little vacation.  I didn’t get a chance to get it uploaded.

Today I am thankful that my hubby is such a hard worker for his family.  He was hoping I would tell him he didn’t have to go back.  Hmmm…nope, wish I could have though.  This card is perfect for anyone that you wish to thank or tell how much they mean to you!

I used the Blended Bloom stamp once again.  I would say that it has already paid for itself seeing as though I have made at least 10 cards with it and a scrapbook layout.  I will continue to make more cards because I just love coloring these petals!
I also used the fun hexagon embossing folder.  I flipped it over and now the outline of the hexagon is debossed rather than embossed.  Now, that’s an extra value because you can use either side to create a different look!
Instead of using the wonderful NEW Blendabilites, I chose to use my trusty Blender Pens with the Strawberry Slush ink pad to color my flower.  We do not have Strawberry Slush in the Blendabilities. 🙂
As a finishing touch I added some sparkle with my favorite bling:  Dazzling Diamonds!

Wish me luck with these kids ALL day. 🙂

Customer Thank You’s!

I hope that you are enjoying your Sunday!  It’s been quiet around here today!  My daughter had a sleepover with a friend last night and the girls convinced her mom to take them skating @2pm!  My hubby was asked by some friends to go golfing (he really does deserve the day off…he works so hard for all of us!).  Jacob and I have been hanging out!  I did get a couple of orders through Etsy over the last few days so, I got those ready to hit the post office tomorrow!  So exciting…I just hope they like everything that they ordered!

Ok, here is the Thank You card that was mailed to customers that placed orders in MARCH (yes, I was a bit late…but, they should have all received them by now)!

I told you earlier this week that I am officially hooked on this stamp set.  It just makes the prettiest cards.  They are very simple and pretty quick to create.  This is a standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card.  I cut my whisper white to 4″ x 5 1/4″, stamped the flower image with Black Staz-On (the only black ink that I use!), grabbed my blender pens, colored my image, stamped the Thank You sentiment and lastly, used my 2-way glue pen to adhere my dazzling diamond glitter!  Piece of cake. 🙂

I hope you enjoy…
